Like all strong acids, SULPHURIC ACID can be used as a reagent, pH control, and reaction medium for many processes. One such process is using SULPHURIC ACID in copper and zinc electroplating. This improves the conductivity of the electrolyte, as well as aids the formation of coherent, uniform layer deposition.
Due to SULPHURIC ACID’s highly corrosive nature, it is frequently used as a drain cleaner, where it will dissolve grease, tree roots, and many other objects clogging the drain. In the same vein, SULPHURIC ACID can be used for urinal cleaning, and other similar tasks.
