Description

Sodium metasilicate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Na2SiO3. It is white particles, easily soluble in water, soluble in dilute sodium hydroxide solution, and insoluble in ethanol and acid. It is mainly used as analytical reagents, fabric fire retardants, and adhesives. Agent, hardener, weighting agent, filler, also used in ore floatation and petroleum refining.
