Description

Zinc chloride is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula ZnCl2. It is a white crystalline powder, easily soluble in water, soluble in methanol, ethanol, glycerin, acetone, ether, and insoluble in liquid ammonia. It is mainly used as a dehydrating agent, catalyst, Preservatives are also used in electroplating, medicine, pesticides and other industries.

Usage: battery electrolyte, hot-dip galvanizing industry, pesticides, pharmaceutical intermediates, industrial coal washing, dehydrating agent and condensing agent in organic synthesis industry. Catalyst for cation exchange resin and solvent for the production of polyacrylonitrile. In the dyeing and weaving industry, it is used as mordant, mercerizing agent and sizing agent to produce reactive dyes and cationic dyes.
